Eskhakzai and her ex-boyfriend went to a psychologist in the hope of saving their relationship. In total, they attended three sessions with a psychologist.

Ramina and Eugene eventually broke up. On the show, the ex-lovers admitted that they had lost their feelings for each other. Eskhakzai raised the problematic topic, and later her husband started talking about it. "For the last two years, we probably had a relationship that could have been ended," the journalist says.

She recalled a message she had once sent to Pronin: "I wrote that I am grateful to you for two moments in my life: when I met you and when we broke up." However, the exes maintained mutual respect and remained on friendly terms.
