Love that can't be bought. Valeriy Zaluzhnyi and his wife in camouflage and body armor impressed the network

The former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi has posted an archival photo with his wife Olena. In the photo, both the general and his beloved pose in military uniforms and bulletproof vests in the middle of a field.

Valeriy Fedorovych posted the image on his personal Facebook page. In the 11 hours since it was posted (at the time of writing), the post has garnered nearly 40,000 likes and more than 200 enthusiastic comments.

The general himself decided to leave the photo without a caption. In it, Zaluzhnyi holds his wife by the shoulders, and she leans into her lover. Both are smiling sincerely.

Ukrainians mostly write one common word in their comments: "The best". Everyone expresses their admiration for the couple and wishes their family happiness.

Roman Burko, a well-known military journalist and volunteer, also drew attention to the photo. In his opinion, Valeriy and Olena Zaluzhna have truly won people's love, becoming an example and inspiration for millions of Ukrainians.

"Only an hour ago, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi posted an archival photo with his wife on his official Facebook page, and it has already gained more than 19 thousand positive reactions from users. Many people wrote comments thanking the general. This is what real people's love means, and no telethon can buy it. This is a truly unique situation for Ukraine. It's hard to think of any other high-ranking Ukrainian official who would be so respected by millions of people," Burko shared on his Facebook page.

It should be noted that the general rarely shares details of his personal life. It is known that his wife Olena works as a financier at Ukrgasbank, and together they are raising two daughters.

As a reminder, on February 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fired Zaluzhnyi and appointed Oleksandr Syrskyi as the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. The president thanked the former commander-in-chief for "two years of defense" and said he had offered him to stay in the team.

According to Zelenskyy, 2024 can be a successful year for Ukraine only if there are effective changes in the defense sector.
