Danylko reacted sharply to Povaliy's words about the "liberation" of Ukraine and explained her political position: I don't understand how Taya could say such a thing
Ukrainian showman Andriy Danylko, who performs as Verka Serdyuchka, commented on the position of his former stage colleague Taisiya Povaliy, with whom he used to communicate well. The artist sharply responded to her accusations of "liberating Ukraine" and rejoicing in the war.
Danylko assumed that the traitor had a reason to side with Russia, but he does not understand why she publicly "spouts" nonsense about her homeland. Danylko said this in an interview with And Graham Came.
When asked why Povaliy and Lorak will continue to present themselves as Ukrainian singers, the artist has no answer.
"This is strange to me. They went to the other side, they live there. They had certain circumstances. Taya was a member of the Party of Regions, which is Yanukovych's party. There are some things I can't tell you, unfortunately, because it was a private conversation, and they didn't want me to either. That's how the circumstances worked out. But it's a pleasure to give such interviews: "I was happy when the war started". Taya said that they came to release her. I have no words," Danylko said.
He recalled seeing a whole alley of graves of young heroes at the cemetery and called the war "senseless."
"I don't understand how Taya could say that. I understand the situation. She chose to go there. It's on your conscience, the circumstances are what they are. We've always been on good terms, but to say that," the showman was surprised.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Andriy Danylko refused to judge the National Selection for Eurovision. He didn't like the new format, and last time the showman "suffered".
