Boris Johnson became a father for the eighth time: the former prime minister's wife disclosed the sex and name of the heir. Photo

Kerry showed a series of touching photos

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has become a father again. The happy event took place on 5 July, but the parents announced the baby's birth only today, 11 July. The politician's wife, Kerry Johnson, gave her husband another son. This is the third child for the couple, and the eighth for the statesman.

The news was shared by 35-year-old Kerry on Instagram. The heir was named Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson. The young mother posted a series of home shots showing the new family member (to see the photos, scroll to the end of the page).

"Frankie's week. Welcome to the world, Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson. Guess what name my husband chose! I am loving every minute of the sleepy little bubble. Seeing my older two welcome their new brother with such joy and excitement has been the most wonderful sight. We are all very enchanted," Johnson says in the post.

As a reminder, Boris Johnson and Kerry Simonds (maiden name) got married on 29 May 2021. A year earlier, on 29 April 2020, their first child, son Wilf, was born. In December 2021, a daughter, Romy, was born.

The former prime minister's first wife was Allegra Mostyn-Owen. They married in 1987 and divorced in 1993. In the same year, Johnson married lawyer Marina Wheeler. They have four children together. The politician also has a daughter born out of wedlock in 2009.

As OBOZREVATEL recently wrote, Kerry Johnson showed a touching photo shoot before giving birth. She noted that after the birth of her third child, the real fun would begin. To find out the details, read our article.
