Zelensky may soon meet with Erdogan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky may soon meet with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The latter has already received a corresponding invitation during the visit of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to the Turkish capital Ankara.

This was reported by TRT World. It is noted that the upcoming meeting between Zelensky and Erdogan will be devoted to Russia's war against Ukraine.

"We exchanged views with the President (Erdogan - Ed.), especially on the war in Ukraine. I informed him that we will hold a high-level meeting with President Zelensky in the coming days. Turkey has also been invited to this summit," Rama said.

He thanked Erdogan for accepting the invitation despite his very busy schedule.

"But what this summit will try to achieve is still unknown," the story says.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has recently reiterated his readiness to mediate between Ukraine and the aggressor country Russia in order to establish a "just" peace between the two countries. He noted that he continues to make efforts to organize peace talks between the leaders of both countries.
