White House: Russia, China and DPRK boost cooperation amid dissatisfaction with current world order

Biden continues to work to strengthen alliances

The governments of the Russian Federation, China, and North Korea are deepening their cooperation and ties with each other. This is happening against the backdrop of these states' dissatisfaction with the current world order.

This statement was made by the White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby. The briefing was broadcast on the White House YouTube channel.

"We see a growing desire by Russia and China, and to some extent North Korea, to increase and improve their ties with each other," Kirby said.

He said the three powers were unhappy with the rules-based world order that the United States, allies and partners helped stabilize after the end of the Cold War.

"We still believe that the rules-based order matters, and that there are certain countries that would like to act contrary to that order," the US administration official emphasized.

In this regard, Kirby added, US President Joe Biden continues to work to strengthen alliances and partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region to the appropriate level.

In addition, he noted that Washington currently has no evidence to indicate that China is providing lethal assistance to the Kremlin.

As a reminder, the United States will respond decisively to any nuclear attack by North Korea against the United States or its closest allies. First of all, this applies to South Korea, against which the DPRK has repeatedly conducted dangerous provocations.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, last year, Pyongyang made a veiled threat to use nuclear weapons against the United States and South Korea, allegedly because they should "pay the worst price in history" for their joint large-scale exercises. About 240 warplanes took part in the exercise.
