"Terrorising the world": British lawyer calls Wagner mercenaries a monster that threatens all countries

The mercenaries of the Russian PMC Wagner are already being called monsters and a threat to the whole world. Experts believe that representatives of this group are terrorising the world.

This was stated by Jason McCue, a British lawyer who has studied the activities of PMCs. According to him, the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee has published a report revealing the facts of the Wagner mercenary group's activities around the world (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).

The report names 17 countries and more than 50 legal entities and individuals that the US, UK and EU should impose sanctions on. The report also outlines the diplomatic and financial consequences for states that cooperate with Yevgeny Prigozhin's Wagner Private Army, if it can still be called that.

McCue calls on the UK government to immediately ban the Wagnerites as a terrorist organisation.

"They are terrorising the whole world. This is a new form of terror. And we must fight here not only for Ukraine, but also for us. To protect us from this monster," the lawyer said.

According to him, the report is very important because of its recommendations, which include the need to introduce many new sanctions to make life more difficult for all those who use or sponsor PMCs.

He expressed confidence that the UK would eventually recognise the Wagner PMC as a terrorist organisation.
