"Such actions undermine security": the Iranian Foreign Ministry reacted cynically to the explosions on the Crimean bridge
The authorities of Iran, which supplies the terrorist country Russia with weapons to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities, have reacted cynically to the explosions on the Crimean bridge. Tehran issued that the explosions at the illegal crossing "undermine international peace and security".
Also in Iran believes that the situation with the Crimean bridge can lead to escalation. This was stated by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Nasser Kanani Chafi, writes Fars News.
According to him, the explosions on the Crimean bridge are allegedly "aimed at escalating the conflict". Also, Nasser Kanani Chafi said Tehran condemns the attack on the bridge, which is an important logistical artery for the Russian occupation army.
"We consider any action aimed at escalating the conflict as unconstructive and undermining international peace and security. The escalation of the conflict is a matter of concern in Tehran," the Iranian Foreign Ministry said.
The Iranian diplomatic ministry also said that it allegedly did not send "prohibited weapons" to one of the parties to the conflict. At the same time, the Foreign Ministry said that Tehran believed in a political settlement of the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine.

Earlier, eyewitnesses of the destruction of the Crimean bridge said that they heard two explosions around 3 a.m. The first explosion was heard at 3:04 a.m., and the second one occurred at 3:20 a.m. As a result of the incident, one slab of the bridge moved down.
As reported OBOZREVATEL, the attack on the Crimean bridge on the night of July 17 is a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Navy of Ukraine. The bridge was attacked with the help of surface drones. The operation was complicated, but in the end the SSU and the Navy managed to do what was planned.
