Russia's intelligence services handed over trophy weapons to Hamas to discredit Ukraine: GUR exposes enemy's plan
Russia is planning to use the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel as a pretext to launch a large-scale provocation against Ukraine. Russian intelligence services have already handed over trophy weapons captured during the fighting in Ukraine that were manufactured in the United States and the European Union.
Thus, Russia wants to accuse the Ukrainian military of allegedly providing Western weapons to terrorists on a regular basis. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
As part of the Kremlin's disinformation campaign, these false reports are to be used as the basis for a series of "exposés" and "investigative journalism" in Western media.
To strengthen the credibility, Russian intelligence services intend to use relevant comments from a former employee of the Ukrainian Border Guard Service, Senior Lieutenant Ruslan Syrovyi, who recently fled to Moscow.
This latest provocation by the enemy is aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and may lead to the termination of military support for our country from our Western partners.
As a reminder, Hamas militants staged a massive attack on Israel on the morning of October 7, launching 5,000 rockets, then broke through the fence near the Gaza Strip and began committing atrocities, killing civilians.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the IDF continued to strike the Gaza Strip during the night of October 9 to destroy the military capabilities of the Hamas terrorist group. At the same time, the terrorists continue to attack civilian targets, and the number of victims of Hamas attacks in Israel has already exceeded 700.
