Police officer opens fire on tourists from Israel in Egypt: three people are killed
In the city of Alexandria, Egypt, on October 8, a local police officer opened fire on a bus with tourists from Israel. At least three people were killed.

Later, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that two Israelis and their Egyptian guide had been killed. This is the information about the wounded Israeli citizen. He is in moderate condition. According to The Times of Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Security Council, the IDF, and the Israeli Embassy in Egypt are working to bring the Israelis home.
Footage from the scene was shared online, showing ambulances and people watching from behind a fence.
There was also a video showing the victims of the attack: two people lying motionless on the ground, the place was surrounded by law enforcement officers. At that time, a group of men was helping one person, and a woman was screaming, calling an ambulance.
According to media reports, three people have been confirmed dead - two Israeli citizens and one Egyptian citizen. At the same time, some channels reported the deaths of six people and the injuries of several others.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it was looking into reports that Israeli tourists had been shot at in the city of Alexandria. And the Israeli rescue service confirmed the information about two dead citizens.
