The Polish Forest Protection Service seized the recreation center in Skubianka from the Russian Embassy. It was decided to transfer it to serve the needs of the Polish army.
This was reported by the Ministry of National Defense of Poland. Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak called the decision a landmark.
Thus, on October 9, in Skubianka, the head of the Ministry of Defense took part in the transfer of state forest land plots of the former recreation center of the Russian Federation for the needs of the Territorial Defense Forces.
"We are in a symbolic place. The state forests returned this land plot and this property from the Russian Federation. Then they decided to transfer this property to the Polish Army," Błaszczak said.
The agreement on the lease of this place by the Russian embassy was terminated amid Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak announced the start of the deployment of the Patriot missile defense system over the country's capital, Warsaw. The operation is scheduled to begin on October 6.
As previously stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda, the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel will contribute to Russia's aggression against Ukraine, as it will divert the world's attention from it. And the European Union may experience another wave of migration from the Middle East. According to the leader of Poland, events in the Middle East will have the effect of "taking our eyes off Ukraine."
