Panic all over the streets: video of the first seconds of a powerful earthquake in Morocco appeared online

A powerful earthquake struck Morocco late on the evening of September 8. The start of the devastating natural disaster, which took more than 600 lives, was caught on CCTV cameras.
The gruesome video from the cameras was published by journalist Muhammad Arif Khan. The video shows how a street in a Moroccan city, which had been living a calm and measured life, turns into an inferno in the blink of an eye.

Footage shot in the first minutes after the end of the powerful tremors also appeared online. It shows disoriented people wandering through the destroyed streets in clouds of dust.
Judging by the footage, the devastation caused by the earthquake is frightening.
As of the morning of September 9, Morocco reported 296 dead and more than 150 injured as a result of a powerful earthquake.
However, later the number of victims and injured increased to 632 dead and 329 wounded.
