Employees of the Kaunas Territorial Customs and the Lithuanian Customs Criminal Service have once again found military goods in a transit train from Russia (Kaliningrad - Moscow). Among the items were camouflage pants and camouflage nets, apparently intended for the Russian occupiers.
The cargo was detained on October 2 at the Kibarta railway station during a material inspection in a mail car of a passenger train. This was reported by Delfi.
"The shipment of the intercepted camouflage pants in accordance with Council Regulation (EU) No. 833/2014, category VIII, is classified as clothing specially designed for camouflage," the publication says.

It is noted that on October 1, a similar batch of military goods (five camouflage nets) was also intercepted by Lithuanian customs officers in Kibartai - on a train en route from Kaliningrad. In addition, packages with nets for camouflaging guns were on the same trains and were confiscated by customs officers on September 27-29.

Such cargoes, according to representatives of the Lithuanian Customs Criminal Service, are intended for Russian troops fighting against Ukraine. Usually, they are sent by members of various NGOs operating in the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation.

"Such camouflage nets are classified as military cargo, and their transportation requires a one-time permit issued by an authorized person of the Minister of National Defense of Lithuania. Currently, these permits are not issued," the newspaper writes.

They added that Lithuanian customs exercises enhanced control over postal items using both detailed physical inspection and technical measures, such as handheld X-rays or other control measures. Lithuanians transfer similar confiscated goods as support for Ukraine

As reported by OBOZ.UA, in Lithuania, Russian train conductors and the train manager were forced to erase the propaganda inscriptions "Z", "ZOV" and "Vilnius is a city of Russia" on the cars. The incident occurred on October 2 with a transit train from Moscow to Kaliningrad.
