In the Austrian capital Vienna, unknown people have painted cars with symbols of Russian aggression against Ukraine, letters Z. Only cars with Ukrainian license plates were damaged.

This is reported by the Austrian TV channel ORF. The incident took place on the night of Sunday, July 9, in the Donaustadt district in the east of Vienna (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page) .

 
 

Z symbols painted with red spray paint were seen on at least six cars with Ukrainian registration. Police have already launched an investigation.

"To date, six cases are being investigated on suspicion of property damage by unknown attackers," law enforcers said.

The state agency for constitutional protection and counter-terrorism was also informed about the incidents.
