IDF reports dozens of dead Hamas terrorists

On the night of November 2, Israel Defense Forces ground forces and tanks clashed with Hamas terrorist organization cells in the northern Gaza Strip and killed dozens of militants. The troops of the Golani Infantry Brigade fought "long battles" against terrorists who used rocket attacks, explosive devices and grenades against the military.

This was reported by The Times of Israel. The Golani troops repelled the attack with artillery and tank fire and the involvement of air and missile strikes from the Navy.

"At the end of the fighting, dozens of terrorists were killed," the IDF said.

The IDF reports that it continues to attack Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, including weapons production and storage sites, and anti-tank missile and drone launching positions.

The IDF's Military Intelligence Directorate also stated that it had discovered about 1,200 new Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip during a ground operation launched last week. It is noted that the use of artificial intelligence and automated tools allows them to quickly and accurately identify new targets.

On November 2, the British newspaper The Sun published on its cover the faces of 32 children held hostage by Hamas since October 7 with the caption, "Bring them home".

These children, along with other hostages, were captured by Hamas militants during a terrorist breakthrough across the border in southern Israel. Hamas does not provide information on the condition of the hostages and they also refuse to allow the International Committee of the Red Cross access to them.

According to IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the families of 242 hostages have been informed that their loved ones are being held captive in the Gaza Strip.

He noted that this number may change as the military continues to collect and analyze new information. There are also dozens of people reported missing and their fate remains unknown.

Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky said that Ukrainians have not been able to evacuate from Gaza to Egypt yet on the air of the "United News" TV marathon.. According to the ambassador, more than 300 Ukrainians are already in line to leave the war zone, but Hamas is preventing them from leaving, using civilians as human shields.

"Unfortunately, Hamas is preventing civilians from leaving the Gaza Strip, using them as human shields. We know this and see it all the time," the ambassador added.

As a reminder, the White House is discussing the prospects of establishing a peacekeeping force in the Gaza Strip after the complete elimination of Hamas terrorists. The peacekeeping contingent will not include U.S. troops.

Earlier, it was reported that the evacuation of foreigners from the Gaza Strip has already begun. Thus, about five hundred people have received permission to leave, but Ukrainian citizens are not yet part of this group.
