Foreign Ministry sets up operational headquarters to help Ukrainians in Israel: all contacts
Ukrainian citizens in Israel have been advised to pay close attention to all warnings and instructions from local authorities in connection with Hamas shelling and hostilities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has set up an operational headquarters to help Ukrainians in Israel.
This was announced on Facebook by Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko. As a reminder, on Saturday, October 7, a terrorist organization launched a massive rocket attack on Israel and used sabotage groups.
As of 11:40 a.m., there are no Ukrainian citizens among the casualties.
"The Ukrainian Embassy is in constant contact with the Israeli authorities and major hospitals. Diplomats are keeping the situation under control," Nikolenko assured.
He advised our citizens to refrain from visiting the central and southern regions of Israel.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Israel also published recommendations on its Facebook page. The diplomats called on Ukrainians to remain vigilant and "closely monitor the messages of the local competent authorities of Israel to know how to ensure safety."
"In case of staying in the country's settlements located in the immediate vicinity of the Gaza Strip, it is recommended to use bomb shelters when the air raid alarm is on," the ministry said.
