The White House is confident that Congress will support a unified package of aid to Ukraine and Israel

The administration of US President Joe Biden has expressed confidence that a unified $106 billion aid package for Ukraine and Israel will be approved. Both the Democratic and Republican parties in Congress will support the adoption of the American leader's broad request.

This opinion was expressed at a press briefing on board the presidential plane by White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre, Ukrinform reports. She noted that the needs are urgent, so they should be supported by both parties.

"As for the broader package of national security and domestic issues - we're talking about Israel, Ukraine, and other domestic issues in the supplemental request - we believe there is bipartisan support," the US administration spokeswoman said.

The spokesperson also added that Biden intends to veto the bill on providing $14.3 billion in aid to Israel amid the country's war with Hamas terrorists if the document is submitted to the White House.

It should be noted that Jean-Pierre also warned that the funds under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) have been exhausted. According to this article, on Friday, November 3, the last aid package was allocated to our country.

"Today's announcement (of a new aid package - ed.) has exhausted the remaining USAI funds currently available to support Ukraine," the White House spokeswoman said.

In this context, Jean-Pierre once again called on Congress to approve a unified $106 billion aid package for Ukraine and Israel at President Biden's request and thus send an "important signal" to the world about America's determination.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

- On November 3, the United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine totaling $425 million. It will include, among other things, missiles and ammunition to counter drones.

- The White House responded to an article by Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyi for The Economist about positional warfare in Ukraine. They stated that it proves the need to support our country in countering Russian aggression.
