This is the third stage of evacuation of Ukrainians from Israel and Gaza. The first two took place in November and December 2023. Together with the latter, 363 Ukrainian citizens (141 children, 135 women and 87 men) have already been evacuated.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, not only Ukrainian diplomats but also the GUR are involved in the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Gaza. Ambassador Korniychuk told us about the reasons why the Israeli and Egyptian authorities do not always release Ukrainian citizens.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Joe Biden warned Israel that an invasion of the city of Rafah on the southern border of the Gaza Strip would be a "red line." In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the IDF would continue the offensive.
