This was reported by the Turkish edition of Milliyet. It is noted that the dangerous find was discovered on Istanbul's Çatalca beach.
"According to preliminary investigation data, a jet ski, which probably belongs to the Ukrainian Navy, drifted and reached the Istanbul coast of Çatalca. It was also found that there was explosives inside the jet ski," the statement said.

After initial investigations, the maritime transport will be delivered to the military for more thorough examinations, the publication notes.

According to police, it was probably washed up on the Turkish coast from the northern Black Sea.
"The scene of the incident was cordoned off, and citizens who were vacationing on the beach were taken outside the danger perimeter," the statement said.
Detailed surveys of the coast and its surroundings are currently underway.
The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Captain Dmytro Pletenchuk, responded to the allegations that the jet ski with explosives belonged to Ukraine.
"I can say that this drone has nothing to do with the Navy," Pletenchuk said in a comment to Channel 24.
