One of the victims of the airplane crash in the United States, which killed 6 people, was a girl who had been discharged home after a long treatment. The doctors were so impressed with her fight for her health that they accompanied her on the flight that turned out to be fatal.

This was reported by CBS News, which spoke with hospital spokesman Mel Bauer. The girl from Mexico was undergoing treatment at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia.

"It's extremely difficult and very challenging, those who were directly involved in her care knew very well that she was going to go home, and today was actually her send-off," Bauer said.

According to him, the hospital staff is deeply saddened by this event, because all patients are treated very warmly, as if they were family.

After discharge, the doctors asked the girl if she enjoyed the celebration at the end of her treatment, and she said yes.

"Our employees work so hard to bring joy, laughter, and excitement to all parts of the clinical aspect. Patients don't look at it as a hospital, they go to a place where they have fun and enjoy themselves," Bauer emphasized.

He added that the hospital provides assistance not only in the field of medicine but also goes beyond the personal level.
