A giant tornado was filmed near Warsaw: dozens of houses and cars were damaged

In the afternoon of September 14, a giant tornado was spotted near Warsaw, causing destruction in a number of settlements. Houses and vehicles were damaged in the villages of Wierzchowina, Urbanowe, Kruszyne and Bożena Wola.

According to preliminary reports, no one was injured. This was reported by the Moj Radom media.

Local residents and rescuers are cleaning up after the storm. The authorities of the Radom district are counting the damage. Emergency rescue operations are underway in the cities where the tornado caused the most damage.

As a result of the tornado, many houses in many settlements were left without roofs. Radom's mayor, Waldemar Trelka, said that the roofs of a residential building, outbuildings and a garage were damaged in Verzhkhovyna.

In addition, the power line was damaged and the water pump in the town is not working. The Mayor of the Jedlinka Commune, Kamil Dziewięż, set up a crisis management team and participated in the coordination of the rescue operation. The Crisis Management Department of the District Office in Radom is in constant contact with the services and is ready to provide support and assistance.

Local residents say that the wind was so strong that it was lifting objects into the air, creating chaos and panic.

On September 13, a tornado was spotted over the sea in Odesa. A huge atmospheric vortex appeared in the cloud but did not descend to the water surface. An environmental expert explained that Odesa residents had the opportunity to observe an underdeveloped tornado.

Earlier it was reported that the northern part of Vietnam was hit by Super Typhoon Yagi, recognized as the most powerful storm in Asia this year. The tropical cyclone has already killed at least 16 people.
