Zelenskyy announces successful test of Ukraine's first ballistic missile
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine has tested the first ballistic missile of its own production. The Head of State assured that the tests were successful.
The President also noted that the domestic defense industry continues to work diligently. Zelenskyy said this at the forum "Ukraine-2024. Independence" forum.
According to the president, he cannot share details about the new ballistic development. At the same time, he noted that the tests of the new missile weapons were successful.
The head of state also noted that society should evaluate the people who work every day at the country's defense enterprises.
"I would like the society to evaluate our people who work 24/7 at defense enterprises. There was a positive test of the first Ukrainian ballistic missile. I congratulate our defense industry on this. I can no longer share details about this missile," Zelenskyy said.
On the Independence Day of Ukraine, Zelensky announced the first use of the domestic drone missile "Palianytsia." It was launched at an enemy military facility and the target was effectively destroyed.
