The command of the Russian occupation army does not give furloughs to the wounded occupiers, trying to stop mass desertion. Meanwhile, hospitals in the occupied territories of Ukraine are overcrowded, and Russian soldiers with minor injuries are denied treatment altogether.
This was reported on January 4 by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The agency noted that the enemy cannot cope with the flow of sanitary losses among the personnel.
Hospitals in the occupied cities, which the invaders turned into military hospitals, are overcrowded.
Depriving civilians of basic medical services and converting medical facilities to military use did not work for the enemy. Therefore, the Russian command decided to deny treatment to lightly wounded, the DIU said.
"Medical care is somehow provided to the occupiers with moderate injuries. And the seriously wounded are sent to Russia due to the lack of equipment and qualified specialists - not all of them get there," the statement said.
In addition, rehabilitation leaves provided after injuries have become an acute problem for the enemy.
Due to the fact that the occupiers did not return from "rehabilitation," the enemy command decided to cancel such leaves altogether in an attempt to stop mass desertions.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, about 780 occupants were killed in Ukraine yesterday. The Defense Forces also destroyed 109 pieces of enemy military equipment and weapons.
