"Work is ongoing": the General Staff confirms the damage to the oil depot in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation
On the night of July 30, Ukrainian soldiers hit another oil depot in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. After the attack, a fire broke out at the facility.
The strike was carried out by the forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces. The defeat was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The coordinated work of the Ukrainian Defense Forces continues: another strategic object of the Russian occupiers has been struck. Last night, the enemy's oil depot "Logistics Center #43" in Vozy, Kursk region of Russia, was successfully destroyed. According to intelligence, as a result of the attack, a fire broke out at the enemy's facility. The strike was carried out by the forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces," the statement said.
The General Staff added that they are currently clarifying information on the exact consequences of the destruction of another Russian oil depot.
"The Defense Forces will continue to take all possible measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers to force them to stop their armed aggression against Ukraine. To be continued," the General Staff assured.
As a reminder, on the night of July 30, powerful explosions occurred in the Russian Kursk region. This time, the Russians claimed a "missile attack" rather than drones, and they also claimed that Russian air defense "worked."
It was loud in several districts and in the regional center itself, where the explosion was "caught" on a surveillance camera. The propagandists claimed that all this was the sound of "Ukrainian missiles being shot down." They allegedly managed to shoot down 4 of them.
