"We will do the rest ourselves": AFU soldier defending Chasiv Yar calls on allies to provide Ukraine with artillery and aviation in an original way. Photo

His message has already been retweeted by many English-language accounts

Ukrainian soldier Artem Kariakin with the call sign Skhidnyi called on the allies to provide Ukraine with artillery and aviation in an original way. Thanks to the help of Western partners, the Defense Forces will be able to repel the Russian occupation forces.

The Ukrainian defender published his post on X, formerly known as Twitter. He posted a picture of graffiti addressed to Ukraine's Western partners.

In the photo, the soldier stands against the background of an English-language inscription made on the wall of a building in the town of Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, which the occupiers attack regularly.

"We are not asking for too much. We just need artillery ammunition and aircraft. We will do the rest ourselves. The Armed Forces of Ukraine," the sign says.

It is worth noting that Kariakin was born, lived and fought as a partisan in Kadiivka, occupied since 2014, until 2021.

He could not leave because he was caring for his sick parents. At the same time, he did everything he could to bring the liberation of his native land closer: he organized an underground struggle against the Russian occupiers, as well as collected data on the locations of Russian troops and equipment and passed it on to the Armed Forces.

When his parents died, he moved to the government-controlled part of Ukraine and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to liberate Kadiivka.

Recently, it became known that in his small homeland, local collaborators and Russian occupiers desecrated the graves of the Ukrainian soldier's relatives.

In addition to fighting on the front line, Skhidnyi also keeps in touch with pro-Ukrainian residents of the Luhansk region, many of whom remain there and who provide the Defense Forces with important information about the number, location and movement of Russian troops. He also talks about the realities of occupied Kadiivka on his channel, which drives the occupants mad.
