"We must destroy the enemy": Ihnat commented on the strikes on the occupants in Crimea
Explosions in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia, including the occupiers' military facilities in Crimea, will continue. According to Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukraine needs to destroy the occupiers and their logistics, which could affect the course of hostilities.
Ihnat said this during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine. He noted that Ukraine cannot defend itself against Russian attacks unilaterally.
"You see the results of the work of the Air Force. Take, for example, two ships that were damaged after the Moscow cruiser. They were destroyed by precise strikes of our pilots and other units. There are also strikes on ammunition depots in the occupied territory, in Crimea in particular," Ihnat said.
Thus, frequent explosions have been observed recently in the temporarily occupied Crimea. They are mostly related to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who hit places of concentration of Russian troops, their military equipment and ammunition depots. The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force noted that explosions in the occupied territories will continue
"We cannot defend ourselves unilaterally. We have to destroy the enemy and its logistics, including destroying its headquarters, military commands and control bodies in different areas," the spokesman said.
As a reminder, on the night of September 21, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Navy launched a large-scale fire attack on the Saki military airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea. There were at least 12 combat aircraft.
As a reminder, the attack on the command post of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea was a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Air Force and the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Enemy military systems and manpower were hit.
