"We don't need Bryansk": the State Border Guard Service reacted to the Russians undermining the road at the junction of the borders of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine officially reacted to the May 30 bombing by Russian occupants of a section of road near the monument "Three Sisters," where the borders of Ukraine, Belarus, and the Russian Federation intersect. Ukrainian border guards called the actions of the invaders futile and ridiculed their arguments regarding their alleged desire to protect Bryansk from the advance of Ukrainian troops.
This was stated by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andrey Demchenko in a commentary to "Public". He reminded that Ukraine has never been an aggressor, so the Russian invaders should not judge everyone by themselves.
Demchenko said that the Russians blew up a section of the road near the monument "Three Sisters" at the junction of the borders of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. The event took place near the village of Senkivka, Chernihiv region, at lunchtime on May 30. It was at that time that Ukrainian border guards recorded the sound of an explosion.
Further, the guards of the Ukrainian border established that the Russians blew up a section of the Chernihiv-Bryansk road.
This act caused some bewilderment among Ukrainian border guards.
"One can only talk about the absurdity of their actions. We all remember "Kyiv in three days", and now they are beginning to fear that Ukraine will go on the offensive against their regional center. However, Ukraine is not the aggressor. We have repeatedly noted that Ukraine is only defensive. We don't need Bryansk," Demchenko stressed.
