"We are achieving our goals": Zelenskyy listens to Syrskyi's report on battles in Pokrovsk and Kursk region
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to a report by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation on the battlefield. The Head of State noted that heavy fighting continued in the Pokrovsk direction.
Ukrainian soldiers also hold the defense of Toretsk and continue the operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Zelenskyy said this on his Telegram channel.
The President said that Syrskyi reported on new details of the operation in the Kursk region. According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian soldiers are achieving their goals. In particular, the head of state noted that on the morning of August 19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine once again replenished the exchange fund for our country.
In addition, the President heard a report on the situation at the front and measures to control it. Zelenskyy emphasized that heavy fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction, and the Armed Forces are also holding the defense of Toretsk. The Head of State thanked the defenders for every result in the destruction of the occupier.
At the same time, Zelenskyy discussed with Syrskyi some aspects of Ukraine's missile program.
