"Warmed Greetings": The Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed a strike on the enemy's marines gathering on the day of the missile forces and artillery of the Russian Federation

The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of a group of Russian invaders near the front line on the left bank of the Kherson region on November 19. At the time of the strike, Russian marines from the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces had gathered to celebrate the Day of the Russian artilleryman.

The confirmation was posted on the Telegram channel of the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Chief Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Russian propagandists, several dozen invaders did not survive the "warm greetings" from Ukrainian soldiers.

"Recently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck a group of Russian invaders from the 810th Marine Brigade. According to the Russian side, at the time of the strike, the occupiers had gathered to celebrate the so-called Day of the Russian Artilleryman. The Ukrainian Defense Forces promptly identified the location of the Russians' festivities and warmly congratulated them!" the statement reads.

StratCom recalled that Russian propagandists threw a real tantrum after arriving at the location of the invaders in the occupied part of the Kherson region. They reported the elimination of dozens of occupants and claimed that about a hundred Russians were seriously injured.

According to Robert Brovdi, the commander of the "Birds of Magyars" company of the 59th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at least 25 invaders were killed, and the Russians are carefully concealing the number of Russian officers among them and the wounded.

The 810th Marine Brigade, which experienced the revenge of Ukrainian soldiers for the defenders of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed by a Russian missile on November 3 in Zaporizhzhia, is stationed in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol near Kozacha Bay. It is part of the Black Sea Fleet coastal troops.

This strike is often confused with another effective defeat that took place that day in the village of Kumacheve in Donbas, journalist Roman Shraik noted. There, the invaders were driven to the local house of culture to attend a "gala concert" by Russian director Polina Menshikh. She died on arrival. Many invaders accompanied the lovers singing "patriotic songs" on the occupied Ukrainian land.

The two events are often confused with each other, as journalist Roman Shraik pointed out.

As a reminder, on November 3, Russians killed soldiers of the 128th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia, who were lined up for an award on the occasion of the Day of the Artilleryman. A Russian X-59 missile was fired at the gathering of soldiers, who were reportedly waiting for the brigade to arrive.

According to the brigade's leadership, 19 soldiers were killed, and many more soldiers and several civilians were injured.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reacted to the tragedy late in the evening of November 4, saying that he had ordered an investigation into the deaths of the soldiers.

"All the circumstances of what happened will be clarified. I instruct the Chief Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense to conduct a full investigation into this tragedy. Our enemy is a cunning terrorist. We must make every effort to protect our people and give all honest answers to the families and friends of the fallen soldiers," the minister wrote.

The brigade commander, Dmytro Lysyuk, remained unharmed: he arrived at the scene of the tragedy after the attack. The commander of the 128th Brigade has been suspended pending an internal investigation.

After the tragedy, three days of mourning were declared in Zakarpattia for the dead soldiers.

On November 14, Umerov announced the first results of the investigation into the circumstances of the missile attack on the 128th Brigade. According to him, it was found that the soldiers were indeed gathered in the courtyard of a house for an award ceremony, ignoring all the rules of camouflage. No security measures were taken even after the air raid was declared and an enemy reconnaissance drone was spotted in the area where the soldiers were located.

On November 21, Magyar confirmed the defeat of the Russian marines and emphasized that this was how Ukrainian soldiers retaliated against the invaders for the dead comrades from the 128th.
