Ukrainian soldiers sank three enemy boats with their crews in the south of our country yesterday. 18 Russian invaders were eliminated together with vehicles.

The Defense Forces also destroyed five large-caliber cannons and an occupant observation post on the islands in the Dnipro Delta. Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, disclosed details about enemy losses in the south during a TV marathon.

According to Humeniuk, the Russians suffered losses in the area of responsibility of the Operational Command South.

"5 large-caliber guns are down over the past day. It is a powerful result of the Defense Forces, as 18 occupants and three more boats on which they tried to maneuver among the islands and place their observation posts there were destroyed. One of these points was also eliminated," she said.

At the same time, Humeniuk mentioned the dropping of a Russian guided aerial bomb on the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka on the left bank of the Dnipro River. According to the occupiers, one civilian was killed and 12 others were injured.

The invaders have now launched a disinformation campaign aimed at shifting the responsibility for the attack on Nova Kakhovka from Russia to Ukraine.

"The situation remains quite tense because the enemy has not abandoned its plans to continue terrorizing the population of the right bank, and as yesterday's situation showed, a heavy fire terror of the left bank continues. For example, yesterday's dropping of a guided aerial bomb on Nova Kakhovka, which is located in the temporarily occupied territory. There, civilians were injured and the occupiers launched a large, powerful information campaign due to panic. But all the facts are documented and the evidence for the enemy terrorism is provided," Humeniuk noted.

On September 15, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 350 occupants and 88 pieces of enemy equipment and weapons at the front. During the full-scale aggression against Ukraine Russia lost about 271,790 of its soldiers as of the morning of September 16.

It was also reported that the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed new details of the brilliant operation of destroying the large Mins landing ship and the Rostov-on-Don submarine in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. Ukrainian soldiers landed on the occupied peninsula as part of the operation.
