Ukrainian soldiers shot down a Russian Su-24 bomber
Russia continues to suffer losses in Ukraine both on the ground and in the sky. On March 14, Ukrainian soldiers downed another Russian Su-24 fighter in Donbas. The enemy "bird" was shot down near Bakhmut. It was hit by the soldiers of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar", writes the UMFT-UA Military Flight team.

The 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade also confirmed the downing of the enemy Su-24 aircraft.

The UMFT-UA Military Flight team channel posted the footage that shows the downed plane falling and catching fire after hitting the ground.
The pilot managed to eject: the video shows him parachuting down near the crash site.
The parachute gets tangled in the trees, so the pilot has to signal his location to the occupiers to get help.
The cost of a Russian Su-24 bomber is about $6 million.
This bomber of the Russian army became the 305th aircraft that Russia lost in Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Also, 289 Russian helicopters have already been eliminated.
