Another Russian officer killed in the December 30 attack on Lgov has been identified

The name of another Russian officer who was killed as a result of a Defense Forces strike on Russian troops in the Kursk region has been revealed. On December 30, 35-year-old Major Ali Tsurov from Ingushetia was killed in Lgov, which was hit by Ukrainian troops with Storm Shadow missiles.

He was the deputy chief of staff of the 104th Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Division, stationed in the Pskov region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by blogger Necro Mancer.

"The deputy chief of staff of the 104th Brigade, Major Tsurov Ali Huseynovich, born in 1989 from Ingushetia, always made the right decisions, especially on December 30, 2024, when he entered the Lgov bunker on time," he wrote.

The news of Tsurov's liquidation became known after he was buried on January 5 in his small homeland, Ingushetia. The death of the occupier was confirmed by the government of this republic within the Russian Federation. However, they did not specify the circumstances and place of liquidation of the Russian major, limiting themselves to a vague statement about "death during a special military operation."

"He (Tsurov – Ed.) remained in the army after his military service, signing a contract. Ali is survived by his wife and son," local media wrote.

Tsurov served in the 104th Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Pskov Division. Earlier, two more occupants from the same division were identified as killed in Luhansk: Lieutenant Colonels Valeriy Tereshchenko and Pavel Maletsky. The former was the head of a communications battalion, the latter commanded an engineering battalion.

At the same time, there was information about the possible elimination in Lgov of another war criminal from the ranks of the Russian army, Colonel Oleg Timoshin, who was directly responsible for the deaths of dozens of Ukrainians. It was he who organized the attacks on the shopping center in Kremenchuk and the high-rise building in Dnipro. However, there is no official confirmation of the elimination of Putin's killer.

As a reminder, on December 30, Russia complained about explosions in the city of Lgov in the Kursk region. They published footage of "cotton" and claimed that there were arrivals at the location of Russian troops. The interim governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinstein, announced another shelling and blamed it on Ukraine.

Subsequently, data surfaced on the results of the attack on Lgov in the Kursk region. Russian media outlet Astra cited sources as saying that at least six Storm Shadow missiles attacked the Russian occupiers' location in the city. At least eight invaders were killed and 22 wounded.
