Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operation in Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidate on the achieved borders and implement measures of counter-battery warfare. In other directions, the defenders repulsed attempts of the occupants to restore the lost position in the areas of Staromayorskoye, Robotino and around Bakhmut.

In the Siversky and Slobozhansky sectors, the Russian Armed Forces fired mortars and artillery at more than 15 localities, including Halahanivka, Ukrayinske, Hremyach, Novovasylivka in Chernihiv region; Volfyno, Turya in Sumy region; and Ohirtseve, Okip, Budarky in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the areas southeast of Andriivka in Luhansk region. Kamianka Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Berestove, Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Liman sector, the occupants conducted air strikes near Bilohorivka and Vesele. They shelled more than 15 localities with artillery, including Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, Terny, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Dibrova, Zvanivka in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground near Andriivka and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region. It conducted an air strike near Klishchiyivka. Over 20 localities suffered from its shelling, including Minkivka, Hryhorivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Pryvillia, and New York in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka sector, under heavy fire from enemy aircraft and artillery, our defenders continue to hold back the Russian offensive in the Avdiivka area. The enemy attacked the city from the air and shelled it with artillery, as well as Oleksandropil, Spepove, Keramik, Novokalynove, Pervomayske, Nevelske in Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka sector, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the Russian offensive in the vicinity of Maryinka. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka and shelled both settlements with artillery, as well as Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, Antonivka in Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, the occupiers made unsuccessful attempts to regain their lost ground west of Staromayorske. In addition, they attacked Blahodatne and Staromayorske from the air. They shelled Vodiane, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Zolota Niva, Velyka Novosilka and Staromayorske in Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the invaders tried unsuccessfully to regain their lost position east of Robotine in Zaporizhzhia. They carried out air strikes in the areas of Chervone, Charivne, and Pyatikhatky. More than 20 settlements suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Mali Shcherbaki, Charivne, Lobkove, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson sector, the Russian Armed Forces attacked from the air in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Odradokamianka, Bilozerka in the Kherson region. More than 20 localities came under enemy artillery fire, including Kherson, Zolota Balka, Veletynske, Stanislav, Komyshany, Novotyanka, Kozatske, Antonivka, Tokarivka in Kherson region and Ivanivka in Mykolaiv region.

Over the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, and six strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems of the Russian Armed Forces. Missile and artillery units struck two artillery pieces in firing positions, one SAM, an electronic warfare station and an enemy air defense unit.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, military and political experts from TheTimes magazine said that the AFU counteroffensive is advancing at a slower pace than expected and is "deviating markedly from the plan." They suggested that the Ukrainian army will achieve its planned goal and liberate territories from the Russian invaders, but the war should not be expected to end by the end of 2023.
