War in Ukraine
Ukrainian Armed Forces neutralize 15 thousand Russian invaders in the Pokrovsk sector over a month
Ukraine continues its defense operation, trying to destroy as many enemy forces and reserves as possible. Particularly fierce fighting is currently taking place in the Pokrovsk sector.
Russia is paying a significant price for its advance there: in January, about 7,000 invaders were eliminated, and total combat losses in manpower amounted to more than 15,000 Russians. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky.
"The defense operation is ongoing, aimed, in particular, at destroying enemy forces and reserves. Ukrainian defenders are continuously inflicting losses on the occupiers. The Pokrovsk direction remains one of the hottest. In January this year alone, our soldiers neutralized more than 15,000 invaders here, about 7,000 of them were irretrievably killed. I thank the soldiers for their resilience, efficiency and heroism!" the Chief emphasized.
Syrsky also posted footage of devastating strikes on the invaders in the Pokrovsk direction.
Earlier, DeepState said that serious losses in the Pokrovsk sector forced the occupiers to deploy reserves. Analysts do not rule out that the Russian command is redeploying them from other areas.
