On Wednesday, January 8, Ukrainian troops struck the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk region. The occupants used this building to attack our defenders and civilians.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The command post was located in the city of Khartsyzsk.
"Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a precision strike on the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation, which was located in the city of Khartsyzsk, Donetsk region. The Russian occupation forces used this building to coordinate attacks against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians, in particular the residents of Kurakhove," the statement said.
Videos of the strike are being shared on Russian Telegram channels.
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces took all necessary measures to minimize the risks to civilians.
As a reminder, on January 7, our Armed Forces struck at the command post of the Russian occupiers in the Kursk region. As a result of the attack, marines from the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were wounded. The command post was located in the area of Belaya settlement, the district center of the Belovsky district of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on December 25, the Defense Forces launched a missile attack on Lgov, Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The building of a sugar factory, where the Russian military were stationed, was attacked. After the attack on the 810th Brigade's air defense unit, the enemy suffered losses of officers.
