On the afternoon of January 24, air defense forces shot down two enemy missiles over the Dnipro region. The wreckage of one of them fell on an enterprise in Dnipro.

There is a wounded person, as well as damage to the building and equipment. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.

"Defense personnel from the Vostok military group destroyed two missiles. They were shot down over the Dniprovsky district. The debris fell on one of the enterprises in Dnipro. A 38-year-old man was wounded. He has a head injury, contusion and a fracture. He is in a hospital in moderate condition. There is damage to the building and equipment," he said.

As a reminder, the city of Dnipro experienced a powerful attack on December 29. Then a series of explosions occurred in the regional center, which, in particular, burned down a shopping center and damaged a maternity hospital. Then Russia killed six people in Dnipro. Another 30 were injured. Among the injured was a child.

It was also reported that the day before, on January 24, Russia launched a new attack on Ukraine. The invaders fired at peaceful Ukrainian cities with Tu-95MS missiles and ballistic missiles. Kyiv and the surrounding region, Sumy and Kharkiv came under enemy attack. And it was in this eastern regional center that the attack led to the most severe consequences.

As of 2 p.m., ten victims of the Russian strike have been reported: in the afternoon, rescuers found two more bodies under the rubble.

More than 50 Kharkiv residents were injured.

However, the rescuers continued to search, as they received information that two more people might be trapped under the rubble. They were found dead on January 24.
