The Ukrainian military continues offensive and defensive actions in the south and east of Ukraine. Thus, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to carry out a successful operation in the Berdiansk direction.

This is stated in the DeepState report for the previous day, 16 June. It is also reported that the occupiers have had minor success in the Avdiivka sector.

In the Berdiansk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces drove the enemy out of the area between Urozhayne and Novodonetske. Fighting continues along the Novodarivka-Stepne line.

In the Avdiivka sector, fighting continues in the northern part of Maryinka. The enemy has achieved some minor success there. The situation remains difficult, with exhausting and fierce fighting for every house.

In the Bakhmut sector, active hostilities continue in the west and north-west of Klishchiyivka.

In the Svatove sector, fighting continues in Bilohorivka.

The situation at the front in the Zaporizhzhia sector has not changed significantly. Fighting continues south of Lobkove and Novodanilivka.

There were no significant changes in the Tavriya, Bilomoskovsk, Belgorod and Siversk sectors.

"Ukrainian defence forces have made progress near Urozhayne and Novodonetske, but both localities are still under enemy control. The enemy continues to use Shoigis from Storm-Z to reinforce existing units of the Russian Armed Forces, which know virtually nothing about their new brigade," the statement added.

As a reminder, over the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 670 kafirs, and destroyed 12 tanks and 22 artillery systems. Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the Russian occupation army has already lost 219,100 people in the killed.

Earlier it was reported that in early June, the Ukrainian military launched one of the deadliest strikes against the Russian occupiers during Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine. As a result of the strike on the occupiers' convoy near Kreminna in the Luhansk region, more than a hundred invaders could have been killed.
