"Two or three hours are enough to get on a combat course": the Operational Command "South" assessed the threat of new Russian missile strikes on Ukraine
There are currently no missile launchers of the terrorist state of Russia in the Black Sea. The enemy was forced to bring the ships to their base points due to stormy weather.
At the same time, the aggressor can return to combat duty at sea within a few hours. Nataliia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, stated this during the "United News" telethon.
According to her, stormy weather is currently observed in the Black Sea. This is forcing Russia to bring its missile carriers to their basing points. In addition, the Operational Command "South" warned that at least one enemy ship is already equipped with eight Kalibr cruise missiles.
"The sea is currently on our side. Stormy weather forces them to bring the missile carriers to their base points. However, we know that at least one surface missile carrier is equipped and ready - eight Kalibr cruise missiles," said Nataliia Humeniuk.
She also added that the likelihood of another Russian missile attack on Ukrainian territory remains high. However, it is currently postponed, in particular, because of the storm in the Black Sea. However, the Operational Command "South" warned Ukrainians that enemy missile launchers could return to combat duty within a few hours.
"At the moment, we can say that the probability of a missile attack has been slightly postponed, but it remains high, as two or three hours are enough for a missile carrier to get on a combat course. The storm is not so critical that it will not work," said Nataliia Humeniuk.
Recall, during a massive missile attack on Ukraine on the night of March 9, the terrorist state of Russia launched six hypersonic Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force emphasized that the enemy had changed its tactics of shelling.
Earlier, it was reported that on the night of March 9, Ukrainian defenders shot down 34 Russian missiles and 4 Iranian-made kamikaze drones, which the occupiers used to attack a number of regions. In total, the enemy launched 81 missiles of various types.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to another war crime by Russia, which launched a massive drone and missile attack on Ukraine on the night of March 9. He emphasized that the aggressor had launched missiles of various types and kamikaze drones to terrorize civilians. He also added that neither missiles nor atrocities would help Russia to put shackles on Ukraine.
