Two critical infrastructure facilities hit in Lviv region: data on the consequences of an enemy attack are available

In the morning of January 15, Russian troops hit two critical infrastructure facilities in the Lviv region during a missile attack. The hits were recorded in Drohobych and Stryi districts.

No one was injured in the attack, but there was some damage. This was reported by the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.

According to him, a Russian attack drone flew to Lviv region at night. The enemy "Shahed" was destroyed by air defense forces. There were no casualties or damage.

And in the morning, during the morning alert, which lasted from 06:12 to 08:12, the enemy attacked Lviv region with cruise missiles.

"Two critical infrastructure facilities were hit in Drohobych and Stryi districts. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there was damage. Life support systems in the region are operating normally. No power cuts are currently being introduced," emphasized Kozytskyi.

He also said that a residential building and an outbuilding were damaged as a result of the rocket fall in Sknyliv village, Zolochiv district. No one was killed or injured.

"A crater with a diameter of 6 by 5 meters and a depth of about 2.5 meters was formed near the house. All specialized services have arrived at the scene," said Kozitsky.

The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration also noted that recently the Russians have been launching Shakheds as low as possible to make them harder to detect. Therefore, it is very important to take safety measures during an air raid without waiting for notifications on social media about an impending threat.

As a reminder, on January 15, Russia launched a combined air attack on Ukraine. The enemy used kamikaze drones and missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles. The invaders primarily targeted the power system.

During the attack, a large-scale air alert was declared in Ukraine and emergency blackouts were introduced, and combat aircraft were sent up in Poland.
