Thanks to the actions of our defenders, the Russian occupiers have failed to encircle Avdiivka in Donbas. During the three weeks of active assaults on the city, the enemy suffered heavy losses. In particular, it lost hundreds of tanks.
This was reported by the 47th separate mechanized brigade on its Telegram channel. Ukrainian soldiers posted a video showing the destruction of a column of enemy armored vehicles.
"During three weeks of active assaults, the Russians lost hundreds of tanks and 250 units of other armored vehicles. Ukrainian troops also killed and wounded almost 7,000 invaders," the statement said.

After one of the Russian APCs is hit, a traffic jam forms in the middle of the column, along with a minefield. The next APC tries to drive around the jam, and two more APCs are hit at once. The enemy troops flee from the damaged vehicles.

However, the next APCs push forward. One of them hits a mine, followed by another. After that, about 8 units of enemy vehicles retreated. This is all the Russian losses in just a few minutes.
Ukrainian fighters fired at the remaining occupants with cluster munitions. "The final chords" were the destruction of several more enemy armored personnel carriers.
"This is the work of the soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade together with our brothers from the separate presidential brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade," the 47th Brigade commented on the video.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 880 occupants and 14 artillery systems of the Russian army during the fighting at the front on November 5. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the number of eliminated mercenaries of the Russian Armed Forces has reached 305,970.
