Russia has come up with an explanation for the huge losses in the Russian occupation army involved in the war against Ukraine. The case when only about 70 out of 300 occupants returned to their temporary location was called an "incident."
This euphemism was used by the administrators of a VKontakte group specializing in the search for missing invaders in Ukraine. The Telegram channel "Look for your own" drew attention to this.
"Meanwhile, the liberators had an 'incident'. 70 out of 300 have returned. Very disturbing," the channel's authors sarcastically commented on the aggressor state's citizens' excessive love of allegory.
The message that attracted the attention of the "Look for your own" channel is about one of the missing Russian occupants, a certain Zeinur Abaskulaidze. This native of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District of the Tyumen Region was mobilized in the summer of 2023. He fought in Ukraine as a deputy platoon commander but not for long. On October 1, the occupier went missing.
In total, according to the authors of the "search" group, about 230 Russian invaders were killed or disappeared that day. This happened as a result of an "incident", the details of which the Russians decided not to disclose, as well as the place.
The General Staff indicated 510 liquidated occupants in the summary of irrecoverable losses of the Russian Armed Forces in manpower for that day, October. Taking into account this number, the total losses of Russia exceeded 279 thousand Russian invaders.
As a reminder, in the latest report on the Russian army's losses in the war against Ukraine, the General Staff stated that on October 9, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 450 invaders. In total, 283,080 occupants have been eliminated.
The day before, the Defense Forces destroyed seven artillery systems, six tanks, three armored combat vehicles, and 17 enemy UAVs of the operational and tactical levels. In addition, the soldiers "demilitarized" an air defense system, 12 vehicles and tankers, and two special vehicles.
