Ukrainian forces successfully neutralized a Russian 152-mm Akatsiia self-propelled howitzer positioned on the temporarily occupied coast of the Kherson region. The enemy attempted to conceal the military equipment in a forest plantation near the village of Kozachi Camps near Dnipro.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces, having discovered the concealed self-propelled artillery system, executed a precise strike, as captured in a video shared by Serhii Bratchuk, a representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South," on his Telegram blog.

Accompanying the destruction of the self-propelled artillery system, the aggressor country's troops suffered personnel losses, with six occupants reported as casualties.

A drone operated by Ukrainian defenders captured footage of the Russian "Akatsiia" in the forest before the attack. Sources suggest that the accurate shot was fired by a HIMARS MLRS, a system acquired by the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the United States.

The fire impact, guided from the air by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance personnel, resulted in the self-propelled artillery system catching fire, leading to the detonation of the ammunition storage.
