The Russians are preparing a new offensive in the Zaporizhzhia sector - Tavria Operational-Strategic Group

Russian occupants have concentrated a significant number of troops in the Orikhiv direction, Zaporizhzia region. The enemy is probably preparing to attack Robotyne.

This was reported by Dmytro Lykhovii, spokesman for the Tavria Operational-Strategic Group, during the TV marathon. According to him, Russian occupation forces have concentrated more personnel here than in the Avdiivka sector.

"The enemy group that has concentrated in the Orikhiv direction over the past few days or weeks is larger in size than the group that is currently involved in the Avdiivka offensive. Obviously, the Muscovites have bloody plans," Lykhovii emphasized.

He noted that the Russian army is likely to try to make progress in the direction of the village of Robotyne, liberated by Ukrainian defenders in the summer.

"The Robotyne ledge, which is south of the town of Orikhiv, is the territory that was de-occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the summer. It seems that the Russians have set a task to gain some success there by storming, just as they are trying to do in Avdiivka," the spokesman noted.

Earlier, Lykhovii reported that due to the difficult situation in Avdiivka, Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military is forced to maneuver and sometimes retreat to more favorable positions. Currently, there are problems with supply and evacuation, but Ukrainian defenders have used a spare logistics artery that was prepared in advance.
