The Russian army commits a terrorist attack near Kharkiv, hitting a recreation center twice with an Iskander-M: 5 dead, including a pregnant woman, 16 injured

Since the morning of May 19, Russian terrorists have been massively shelling the Kharkiv region. Powerful explosions were heard on the territory of the Malodanylivka community.

Several arrivals were recorded there. There are dead and injured among the civilians. This was reported by the head of the Malodanylivka community, Oleksandr Hololobov, on Telegram.

According to him, there are victims of Russian shelling on the territory of the community. The official called on local residents to stay in safe places until the air raid alert is lifted.

"Arrivals on the territory of the community. There are victims. Be careful," Gololobov wrote.

In a commentary to Suspilne Kharkiv, the head of the community said that the Russian occupiers hit a summer vacation spot in the Malodanylivka community of Kharkiv region. The official noted that all the victims were civilians.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that as of 11:50 a.m., six people were known to have been injured as a result of the shelling of the Malodanylivka community. Later, the regional administration clarified that the number of victims had increased to 8 people. Four more people died as a result of Russian shelling. At 13:00, the head of the RMA reported that the number of injured civilians had increased to 15.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko said that Putin's terrorists had targeted a recreation center on the shore of a reservoir in Kharkiv district. As of 13:43, it is known that 5 people were killed and 16 injured, including an 8-year-old child.

The regional police also clarified that a pregnant woman was among the Russian victims. A local resident who was fishing 100 meters from the recreation center also died.

Among the wounded are a police officer and a paramedic who arrived to help people and were injured as a result of a second strike.

Klymenko emphasized that the targeted killing of civilians has become a common practice for Russian invaders. Law enforcement officers are carefully recording every crime so that every war criminal receives a fair punishment.

The Prosecutor General's Office emphasized that Russian troops attacked Kharkiv region using the "repeated strike" tactic. The terrorists struck the first blow at about 11:00 a.m. at a recreation center in the village of Cherkaska Lozova. Approximately 10 minutes later, the Russian army struck the same place again with a missile. According to preliminary data, the enemy attacked the village with two Iskander-M missiles from the territory of the Belgorod region of Russia.

As a reminder, the Russian occupation army continues its offensive in the north of Kharkiv region and is trying to capture the city of Vovchansk and other settlements. The village of Lyptsi remains one of the main targets of the enemy in the Kharkiv region.
