The pilots did an excellent job, safely returning to the base: what the Defense Forces hit in occupied Luhansk

Ukrainian Armed Forces strike enemy's control point in Luhansk region

On Saturday, April 13, strong explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Luhansk. It turned out that during this attack, Ukrainian defenders successfully hit the "Center" control facility of the enemy's military group.

It was an important object for the enemy, the StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Telegram channel reported. The next morning, it was confirmed that the work was carried out by Air Force pilots.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully hit the "Center" control facility of the enemy's group of troops in the temporarily occupied Luhansk," the message reads.

On the morning of April 14, after a pause, the Commander of the Air Force of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk thanked the pilots of the Ukrainian Air Force for a successful and, most importantly, effective strike on an enemy object in the Luhansk region.

"The Ukrainian pilots did a great job and safely returned to the base. There will be more such strikes on the enemy's rear when Ukraine receives MORE missiles from our Western partners. Together to victory!" the lieutenant general noted.

It is worth noting that the explosions were hear in the area of the machine-building plant in particular, after which a column of smoke was visible over the city. Subsequently, there were reports of a strike on the occupiers' repair base and a possible hit on the invaders' location.

Meanwhile, Russian propagandists announced a "missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine" on a bus station and a company, saying that Luhansk was "hit" with German Taurus missiles, which Berlin stubbornly refuses to hand over to Ukraine, too quickly.

The network also showed a missile that hit facilities in the occupied city.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian UAVs reached Mordovia (Russia) for the first time, attacking a military unit in Kovylkino, which is armed with the 29B6 "Container" horizon radar station. This radar has a target detection range of about 3000 km and an altitude of over 100 km.
