Russian troops shelled Kupiansk and Nikopol

Russian troops shelled Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions once again. A 40-year-old man was seriously wounded in Kupiansk, a fire broke out on the territory of a meat processing plant and residential houses, businesses and warehouses were damaged by the enemy in several settlements in different districts of the Kharkiv region.

Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region was also hit. The invaders struck the private sector and wounded an elderly woman. Details about the consequences of the Russian shelling were reported by the heads of the Kharkiv RMA Oleh Synehubov and Dnipropetrovsk RMA Serhiy Lysak.

Russian invaders shelled Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region again on the morning of August 20.

"Today around 7:00 am the enemy shelled the town of Kupiansk. A civilian man of about 40 years old was seriously wounded. Currently, the medics are fighting for his life," Synehubov wrote.

The occupants also hit Kupiansk the day before, damaging a private house. A fire also broke out at a meat processing plant.

Russian troops shelled several settlements in Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kupiansk districts during the day.

Shelling of the village of Kruhliakivka in the Kupiansk district led to a fire in the forestry area.

The invaders damaged 4 private houses in Kozachia Lopan urban-type settlement and destroyed the building of an agricultural enterprise in Cherneshchyna village of Izium district.

Russian shells damaged warehouses and outbuildings of civilian enterprises in Oleksandrivka, Bohodukhivskyi district. The enemy also hit residential buildings: 11 private houses, a kindergarten, a boarding house, a bakery and a church were damaged in Vilcha, Chuhuivskyi district.

The invaders continue the terror of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The occupiers hit civilians using heavy artillery on the evening of August 199 once again.

"A 74-year-old woman was injured. She is in hospital with a shrapnel wound. 5 private houses, 4 outbuildings and 2 power lines were damaged. The night, fortunately, passed quietly. Both in the district and in Dnipropetrovsk region as a whole," Lysak said.
