On August 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces engaged in 50 military clashes with the invaders, repulsing their offensives near Robotine and attacks near Avdeevka. The defenders are also holding back the enemy in the Kupyansk, Bakhmut and Maryinka directions.

Theinvaders continue to suffer heavy losses, which by all means are trying to hide. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU in the morning report for August 7 - the 530th day of the full-scale war.

The day before, the enemy launched 30 missile and 52 air strikes, fired 75 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries, as well as damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. In the Siversky and Slobozhansky sectors, the enemy fired mortar and artillery shells at more than 35 localities, including Buchky, Hremyach, Vesele in Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Sydorivka, Studenok, Basivka, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region; and Guriyiv Kozachok, Strilecha, Hatyshche, Potikhonove, Odradne and Bologivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk sector, our troops are holding steadfastly and successfully repelled the occupants' attacks in the area east of Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region. Instead, the aggressor attacked this village and Podil from the air. He also fired at more than 10 localities, including Figolivka, Dvorichna, Kindrashivka, Kucherivka, Kupiansk and Kyslivka, with artillery and mortars.

In the Liman sector, Russian troops conducted air strikes near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Spirne and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region. They shelled Kuzmine, Bilohorivka, Torske, Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Berestove and Rozdolivka with artillery.

In the Bakhmut sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the occupants northeast of Diliyivka. More than 15 localities suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka sector, under heavy fire from Russian aviation and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the invaders' attacks in the area of Avdiivka. The enemy shelled the city with artillery, as well as Pervomaiske in Donetsk region.

In the Mariinka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russian offensive in the areas of Mariinka and Krasnohorivka. The enemy launched an air strike near the latter. Artillery shelling came from Krasnohorivka, Maksymilianivka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, the occupants attacked from the air near Staromayorsk, and fired from artillery at Vodiane, Vuhledar, Odradne, Blahodatne and Rivne in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensives near Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region. It also carried out air strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne and Orikhiv. More than 15 settlements came under enemy shelling, including Levadne, Chervone, Zaliznychne, Pavlivka, Pyatikhatky, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia, and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovs'k region.

In the Kherson sector, the aggressor launched an air strike near Olhivka in Kherson region. More than 20 localities came under artillery fire, including Mykhailivka, Respublikanets, Lvov, Dniprovske, Veletynske and Novodmytrivka in Kherson region.

The enemy continues to suffer heavy losses, which it tries to conceal by all means. For example, in the temporarily occupied village of Chaplynka, Kherson region, two trucks with the bodies of Russian army servicemen arrived at the morgue from the Kherson direction. The bodies were buried in two locations.

The day before, the Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation carried out 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of the Russian Armed Forces personnel and four on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. For their part, missile and artillery units struck two control points, two areas of personnel concentration, two artillery pieces at firing positions and one enemy electronic warfare station during the day.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov commented on the success of the Ukrainian counter-offensive. According to him, it is going difficult because of the powerful defensive lines of the occupants, but the Defense Forces will move forward.
