Ukraine's air defense forces repelled another attack by Russia, which it launched on the night of June 20. Thirty-two of the 35 Shahed-type attack drones were shot down during the air alert, which swept through all regions in waves.

This was reported by the Air Force of the AFU. In the morning it is known about the hit on the infrastructure object in Lviv, where there was a fire - without casualties.

It is noted that the enemy wanted to strike the military and infrastructure facilities of Ukraine with Iranian Shahed-136/131 hover munitions. The launches were carried out from the northern and southern directions - the Bryansk Region of the Russian Federation and the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov.

"In total, the occupiers used 35 strike drones. The anti-aircraft defense managed to destroy 32: 30 "Shaheds" - by the forces and means of the Air Force, two more - units of the Ground Forces," the message says.

According to the military, the anti-aircraft defense worked today in most regions of Ukraine, however, the main direction of the Iranian drones' attack was Kyiv region. Here more than two dozen Shaheds were destroyed.

In addition, during the night, the Russian occupiers struck Zaporizhzhya with ballistic - Iskander-M/S-300 missiles. According to the General Staff of the AFU on Zaporizhzhya and its surroundings, the invaders used seven S-300.

"Air Force assault, bomber and fighter aviation continues to strike the positions, equipment and rear of the occupying forces. Hold the skies! Together - to victory!" - stated the Air Force.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the day before the head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces of the south Natalia Gumenyuk warned of the threat of Russia's use of Shaheds on Ukraine. She stressed that the enemy was in anticipation of renewed deliveries of these strike drones, which means that they will intensify attacks with them in the coming days.
