On the night of August 2, the Russian occupation army attacked Odessa Region with Shahed kamikaze attack drones. The enemy targeted port and industrial infrastructure facilities.

The terrorists directed the main blow to the south of the Odessa region. This was reported in Telegram by the head of the regional military administration Oleg Kiper (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page).

As a result of the attack on the objects of the port and industrial infrastructure of the region there were fires. Also, the OBA reported damage to a grain elevator. As of 05:30, no casualties were reported.

All relevant services are working at the site of enemy shelling. Final data and results of the combat work will be received from the military command.

According to the information of the command of the Air Force of the AFU, part of the attack drones Russian terrorists launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.

Later, the head of the OBA published photos with the consequences of the night shelling. The images show significant destruction of infrastructure. There was also a fire at the site of the shelling.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine showed how rescuers eliminate the consequences of an enemy attack on the industrial and port infrastructure of the Odessa region.

The Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office said that under the procedural guidance of the Izmail District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched for violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The agency specified that as a result of the shelling the elevator, grain hangars, tanks of one of the cargo terminals, production, storage and administrative premises were damaged and destroyed.

Also the three-storey building of the "Seaport" received significant damage. The full list of destructions and damages is being established. Prosecutors are working at the scene in cooperation with other law enforcers fixing the consequences of the shelling.
