On the morning of February 15, Russian troops attacked Lviv with missiles, hitting an infrastructure facility. The blast wave smashed windows in several buildings, and three people were injured.

The explosions also hit a school. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Andriy Sadovy, who posted several photos of the damage.

The first explosions in Lviv and the region were heard at 06:35. Air defense forces were working to repel the enemy air attack. Around 07:00, a hit on the city was confirmed.

According to the mayor, the enemy launched more than ten missiles at Lviv region. The air defense forces worked out the attack well, but still hit an infrastructure facility.

The blast wave smashed windows in residential buildings on Naukova Street and also hit a school.

"Buses will temporarily run along Volodymyr Velykiy Street. The tram is running as usual," said Sadovy.

The head of the regional military administration, Maksym Kozytsky, emphasized that two people were injured during the morning attack on Lviv - a man and a woman who live in houses on Naukova Street. They had cut wounds and were treated on the spot. Another man was hospitalized with a brow bruise.

In total, some windows in 16 houses on Naukova Street were smashed, and cars were damaged nearby. A fire was ongoing at the infrastructure facility in Lviv where the shell hit. All operational services were working on the ground to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

As OBOZ.UA reported, a Russian Kh-101 missile was recently neutralized in Lviv region. The air defense forces shot it down during an enemy attack on February 7, when the warhead of the 400-kilogram missile did not detonate.
